BarCasts, PG rated? I don't think so.
I work at a sports bar/resturant where a crowd of all ages comes in. We have this interactive network called BarCast that streams on one of our TVs. I had never heard of it until I started working there about a year and a half ago and at first I thought it was cool and it seemed some what innocent except for your occassional post or picture. On their website they claim their content is PG which I could agree with a year and a half ago but now I try not look at the screen. There are endless pictures of half naked women up, with their back sides hanging out of their g strings, the language and content of the posts on their live feed is offensive and their streaming videos of street fighting and other nonsense. If thats what I wanted to watch then I'd search Kimbo Slice on YouTube or go to a strip club. Its now embarrassing that we have it in our resturant and it seems to be the topic of many conversations around the bar and its all mostly negative; not to mention theres not much on there I'd want my 13 year old and younger guests to see. I feel bad for people who's friends put up an embarrassing picture of them because oh yea, there is no way of getting it down. In my opinion BarCast needs to clean it up or have it in 18+ environments.

Week 2 blog
I don't know about everyone else but I've just about had it completely with reality television. It seems to be the center of many many media outlets from it airing on television to people tweeting and writing about it on social networks. Now I'm not saying all reality television is bad; I can stomach certain shows that may actually teach me something about the world other than blowing out or puffing my hair. But for the most part I can't understand how or why people want to go on these shows and make fools out of themselves. Can you honestly be taken seriously after being on these shows? For instance if I'm hiring for a marketing department director or an elementary school teacher and someone from the cast of Jersey Shore, Bad Girls Club, Tool Academy, or for The Love of Ray J sits down in the chair infront of me for an interview, the likelyhood of me actually hiring them given their nationally televised antics is pretty slim to none. Even when MTV producers started showing interest locally for "Mass-holes" and a few people I know wanted to make audition tapes, no one could tell me anything positive that could come out of actually being on the show. I think this whole reality tv deal has become quite extreme and I would love to see more shows with plots that will make me think, like Lost or something that could keep me entertained like one of the HBO series. I don't feel bad about myself after watching one of those shows compared to wasting an hour of my life watching Jwow and Sammi Sweetheart roll around on a floor.
